As the climate crisis deepens, it is becoming increasingly clear that technology alone will not be enough to drive meaningful change. Leadership, vision, and the ability to turn innovation into impact are equally critical. Across the climate-tech landscape, women entrepreneurs are emerging as some of the most influential drivers of this transformation.

She Wins Climate EURASIA 2025 was created at this intersection of leadership and innovation. Launched in collaboration with IFC – International Finance Corporation and implemented by Climate Collective, the program brings together 25 women-led startups selected from Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and Türkiye. Its objective extends beyond acceleration: the program seeks to foster cross-regional collaboration, strengthen knowledge exchange, and support the development of a resilient and sustainable climate-tech ecosystem across Eurasia.
The startups in the She Wins Climate EURASIA 2025 cohort are addressing some of the most pressing challenges of the climate transition. Working across areas such as decarbonization, energy transition, waste management, and climate resilience, these ventures are developing solutions that are both practical and scalable. Their work spans a wide range of technologies—from AI-enabled agricultural systems and bioplastics to advanced materials for carbon capture, as well as sustainable products derived from seaweed and microalgae—demonstrating that climate innovation must be as diverse as the challenges it seeks to solve.
Among the startups representing Türkiye in this distinguished cohort is HELIOS, a climate-tech venture focused on developing advanced sorbent materials for carbon capture in heavy industries. By targeting emissions directly at the source, HELIOS aims to support the decarbonization of energy-intensive sectors and enable industries to move closer to their long-term climate commitments.
For HELIOS, participation in She Wins Climate EURASIA 2025 represents more than an acceleration opportunity. It offers a platform for shared learning and collaboration with women leaders across the region who are united by a common goal: translating climate ambition into tangible, real-world solutions.
By highlighting the role of women-led startups in delivering impactful climate technologies, She Wins Climate EURASIA 2025 also demonstrates how regional innovation can generate global relevance. Supported by IFC and Climate Collective, the growing ecosystem around the program points toward a more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable future for climate technologies.
These 25 startups are not only responding to today’s climate challenges—they are actively shaping the solutions that will define tomorrow.
